New neck protection initiative from Masuri for 2015 /16 the StemGuard is a clip on attachment which provides additional protection for a batsman’s vulnerable neck area. They extensively studied all information available in order to develop StemGuard and have worked with a number of cricket’s national governing bodies during the development following the tragic and sad passing of Phillip Hughes.
It attaches to existing Masuri Vision Club Senior and Junior Club and Test helmets with moulded clips included in the pack. The attachment has been designed to give batsman free movement while offering protection to the vulnerable region at the back of the head and neck. This new innovation by Masuri combines an impact modified TPU honeycomb with military grade crush foam in order to maximise impact absorption giving players much more confidence when batting. Available in core helmet colours plus yellow in both Senior and Junior sizes please select from the drop down list.
